Nintendo Announces Huge Black Friday 3DS Deal

Earlier today Nintendo announced that there will be a huge deal on the limited edition 3DS on Black Friday. There are two new models that are being offered at $100, which is the lowest retail price for a handheld device to date!

The Canadian price for the new Nintendo 3DS system is a suggested retail price of $139.99.

Offering two different colours, black and white, they feature Mushroom Kingdom characters and imagery on the case. That’s right, characters and images from the Mario games decorate the outside, including Mario, Luigi, piranha plants and coins. 

Keep in mind that the new Nintendo 3DS usually sells for $150 in a bundle that comes with Super Mario 3D Land, and the XL version retails at $200 for the same game bundle. Something to note however is that the deal is only inclusive of the regular sized Nintendo 3DS, not the XL variants and does not include a game. Still, this is a $50 savings off the regular price and that’s huge! 

Hopefully this is the first of many Black Friday deals Nintendo offers in an attempt to rival deals already announced for the Playstation 4 and Xbox One. These rival deals include system bundles for $50 off the regular price. 

Mark your calendar for Black Friday, November 25th, as that is when the deal hits stores across the United States. No end date for the deal was announced as of yet. Happy Black Friday shopping!
