Goldberg Has Arrived
2K today announced that WWE 2K17’s “Goldberg Pack” is now available to fans everywhere as downloadable content, enabling access to playable characters and arenas focused on legendary WCW and WWE star Bill Goldberg.
Arriving on the heels of Goldberg’s return to WWE after more than 12 years, as well as his upcoming match against WWE 2K17 Cover Superstar Brock Lesnar at Survivor Series, the WWE 2K17 “Goldberg Pack” offers content previously available to those who pre-ordered WWE 2K17 or purchased the WWE 2K17 Digital Deluxe Edition, including:
- Two playable Bill Goldberg characters (WCW and WWE);
- Playable WCW Monday Nitro and Halloween Havoc arenas; and
- Availability on all platforms for $4.99.
Our man Alex, reviewed the game and said this: “With customizable shows, an extensive list of unlockables and a massive roster of both current and classic WWE Superstars, WWE 2K17 sets out to establish itself as a simulation title and succeeds. The controls can be difficult to master, especially with no tutorial option available, and those who enjoy the surrealism possible in previous entries might not be thrilled with the grounded aspects of the game. While there are plenty of things to do, WWE 2K17 relies on the player to find its heart, rather than offering up anything to feel attached too.”
Developed collaboratively by Yuke’s and Visual Concepts, a 2K studio, WWE 2K17 is rated “T” for Teen by the ESRB and available worldwide for the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3 computer entertainment systems, Xbox One and Xbox 360.
