The Silver Case is Remastered in HD 17 Years After Initial Release in Japan, Out Worldwide for First Time
Grasshopper Manufacture Inc. has released The Silver Case HD Remaster for PC worldwide on Steam, Playism, and other PC gaming platforms. The original game, The Silver Case, was released on October 7th 1999. Exactly 17 years later, Grasshopper Manufacture is proud to present The Silver Case Remastered for PC on October 7th, 2016. The set price of the game is $19.99, with a 10% discount during launch week. The Mac version will release this Fall.
In addition to the standard version, Grasshopper Manufacture has also prepared a Deluxe version including a range of extra content.
Features of The Silver Case Deluxe version
- The Art Book
A collection of artwork made during development, all in 40p full color PDF format. The set includes new art made for the HD Remastered game for PC by Takashi Miyamoto.
- The Digital Comic
A 22 page digital comic following the story leading up tot he game’s opening“#0 Lunatics”.Concept by SUDA51, manga by Syuji Takeya.
- Original Soundtrack
Of course, the extra content includes Akira Yamaoka’s remixed soundtrack created for the Remastered game, comprised of 34 tracks in wav and mp3 format.
Grasshopper Manufacture and Limited Run Games have partnered up to bring a big box limited edition of The Silver Case.

The Physical Version of The Silver Case contains:

- 22-page manga.
- Two-piece manual set.
- Individually numbered box – numbers will be issued by order of purchase. The box is 7.75″ x 9.5″ x 1.75″ – the same box dimensions as many classic PC games from the 80s and 90s.
