Animal Crossing Mini Direct Has Us Intrigued
It may have been slightly overshadowed with Nintendo’s other announcements from today’s Nintendo Direct, but Nintendo did casually mention that they have an Animal Crossing Mini Direct planned for this fall. Just what could be in the works?
While North America didn’t get a concrete release date in their Nintendo Direct this morning, the Japanese one did confirm a date of November 2, 2016. While there may not even be an Animal Crossing Mini Direct planned for the NA region, that won’t stop fans from watching the japanese Animal Crossing Mini Direct to see just what is next for the popular series.
There haven’t been any rumblings of a new title for the Wii U or 3DS, but the most recent announcement in this case was related to an upcoming Mobile title, in which fans could likely build their houses and interact with a whole zoo’s worth of neighbors. The details on the mobile title are admittedly bare, so hearing any new information about this title would at least serve the whet the appetite of Animal Crossing’s hardcore fanbase. It is worth noting that it’s been awhile since New Leaf had come out, so maybe a new full-fledged title is in the works? We’ll have to wait until November 2nd to find out more though.
