Dishonored 2 Shaping Up To Be Lengthy Adventure
Dishonored is a title that many consider to be a faithful return to Stealth gameplay, and with good reason. Levels are designed in sprawling ways that allow you to pursue the various objectives in many ways, and it is a big part of why we are all so excited for Dishonored 2. A major knock against the first title was its length though, and just as the adventure was getting good, Corvo’s journey was over. Harvey Smith has taken to Twitter as well, noting that the title is shaping up to be significantly longer than the original title.
Arkane Studios has put some serious love into Dishonored 2, with Harvey Smith noting that the game should take about 12-16 hours to finish for the first time. However, he also noted that the initial play-tests are averaging out to be around 16-20 hours for the initial run, and that’s only on one character. Dishonored 2 is going to warrant at least a second play-through thanks to two unique characters. Couple that with some even more impressive level design and more options, and we here at COGconnected have a strong feeling you’re going to be staying in Karnaca for awhile, to say the least.
It’s still awhile before Dishonored 2 is going to be in our hands, but you can bet with this extra information that the hype is only building for what is sure to be one of the biggest titles of the year. Keep it locked on COGconnected for any other details that may surface from the bloody waters of Karnaca…
