GameStop Italy Leaks Release Date for Rise of the Tomb Raider for PS4
To say that Rise of the Tomb Raider on the Xbox One was a smashing success would be an understatement. Yet, since its release on the Xbox One not much has been said about Rise of the Tomb Raider’s arrival on the PS4. We have largely been kept in the dark when the game will be released on Sony’s console. Further to this, Rise of the Tomb Raider was a noticeable no-show at E3 2016 leading some to believe it may be cancelled. Yet despite this, the PS4 version of Rise of the Tomb Raider is remarkably still on track for a release this year. Today, we learned GameStop Italy may have inadvertently leaked the games release date.
The website has been updated and Rise of the Tomb Raider for the PS4 appears along with a release date. The store indicates the game will be released on October 11, 2016. Below is an image of the stores ad.
To further add to this rumour, an official image below represents the company’s database where you can see the PlayStation 4 version of the game with the same release date.
As you can see, this leak looks pretty legit; however, Square Enix has not confirmed or denied this information.
