Gran Turismo Sport Includes 140 Cars & DLC Will Arrive Sooner Than It Did For Gran Turismo 5

Gran Turismo Sport Devs Already Working on DLC

It has already been widely reported Gran Turismo Sport will release with 140 โ€œsuper premium carsโ€ but that isnโ€™t the only good news we learned recently. Gear heads always want more and so do we. Fortunately, Producer Kazunori Yamauchi says we wonโ€™t have to wait as long as we did with Gran Turismo 5 for some DLC. He said this during the Q&A session following a Japanese media event yesterday.

Producer Kazunori Yamauchi said the following:

โ€œOf course weโ€™re preparing for DLC and updates after launch, However I cannot provide specifics at this point. That said, we absolutely wonโ€™t keep you waiting one year like it happened with Gran Turismo 5. I believe theyโ€™ll come out steadily after a certain period from launch.โ€

GT5 fans may recall that when the game launched in November 2010, the first DLC packages was released in October 2011. Well it looks like fans wonโ€™t have to wait that long this time around.

GT Sport will include three game modes: โ€œCampaignโ€, โ€œSports Modeโ€ and โ€œArcade Modeโ€. Both offline and online racing will feature in the game. The game has been described as different from the โ€œPrologueโ€ titles seen in the past in the series and will feature more content. Unlike its predecessors, the game does not feature dynamic weather and day-night cycle. However, players still have the option to modify the raceโ€™s time of day before entering the race.

GT Sport will launch in North America on November 15th, and in Europe on November 18th, exclusively for PS4.
