Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age Announced, Demo Available At E3
Fans of Final Fantasy XII will be able to experience the game like never before with a brand new entry being announced today. Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age will be launching on the PS4, touting a “never before-seen job system” that is based around the twelve signs of the Zodiac.
The plot of the game bears no changes from XII’s release, and instead is looking to enhance the gameplay of the title even further, helping shake up the RPG formula it has helped pioneer. It’s a longstanding series that has continued to try and adapt to make things exciting, but as of right now, details on the title are admittedly bare seeing as we’re just finding out about it today.
This will be the first time that the west will get to experience this unique job system, and there are a wealth of other features planned for Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age, which you can see below:
Additional features include:
- Latest-generation high-definition graphical capabilities, including characters and movie scenes fully remastered in high-definition.
- True 7.1 surround sound, including high-definition voicing and newly recorded background music utilizing the current generation of sound production.
- Option to switch between the original and the newly remastered soundtrack.
- New trial mode where players can take on monsters and enemies in up to 100 successive battles
- Modern gameplay advancements including PlayStation ® 4 system trophy support and share functionalities, auto-save and shortened loading times
- Â An endless amount of gameplay and adventure including hunts, battles, and mini-games
There is no concrete release date planned for the title yet, but Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age will be made available in 2017, and those lucky enough to attend E3 may get the chance to get their hands on it at Square Enix’s booth, provided they are registered.
