Fallout 4: Far Harbor Drops Tomorrow For Everyone
Fallout 4: Far Harbor should need no introduction, especially to any dedicated fans of the series. There has already been a variety of  information (some less than welcome), and while some folks have been trying to leak spoilers, the majority of the fanbase is going to be going into this blind, and they should be incredibly hyped to do so. Going into a game totally blind is quite a treat, and for one of the year’s biggest titles, it should bear no differently.
For those who aren’t in the loop, Far Harbor is Fallout 4’s first major expansion. It’s being touted as the largest expansion in terms of landmass that Bethesda has ever created. It’s jam-packed with factions, settlements, areas to explore, and new equipment with which to kick wasteland ass with. It’s also bringing back some features that fans had criticized Fallout 4 for omitting, such as Skill Checks. They’d been a staple of the series, and to see them absent from the game. Bear in mind these are different from the various speech checks. Skill checks were the ability to have your strength, luck, or agility allow you to help expand on a quest if you came up short in other ways. It’s a very welcome addition to DLC that’s already promising a massive experience. The plot of Fallout 4: Far Harbor is as follows. If you’d like to be 100% blind, read no further and know that this DLC is going to be live for you tomorrow. For those who want a bit more, keep on reading though.
*Minor Story Spoilers ahead. Avert your eyes if you want to go in totally dark*
A new case rolls into Nick Valentine’s Detective Agency, leading you on a search for a young woman and a hidden colony of Synths. Travel the coast of Maine to the mysterious Far Harbor, where high levels of radiation have created a whole new kind of landscape. Similar to the Glowing Sea, navigate through an area fraught with synths, new creatures, the local townsfolk and the Children of the Atom. Whether you bring peace to the land or thrust it further into chaos is strictly on you. What kind of path will you choose when you land in Far Harbor?
Fallout 4: Far Harbor drops tomorrow worldwide for Xbox One, PS4 and PC. If youd’ like, we’ve included a video where you can view the team’s insights on designing Far Harbor, and a few more treats on what sort of things to expect with the first major expansion for one of the 2015’s most massive releases. If you want to read the team’s full insights on this DLC, you can find that right here, but I’d steer clear if you don’t want anything spoiled.
