The Second Target For Hitman Is Live (Until You Get To Him)
For all you Agents out there who own Episode 2 of Hitman, you can track down a brand new Elusive Target. The Congressman is on the loose in Sapienza, and youโll have to make use of all of your training to take him down. If you need more information though, thereโs a handy training video you can find right here. Youโll only be able to access this content if you own Hitman Episode 2: Sapienza, however, so those reserved on purchasing the title wonโt get to experience it, although itโs pretty damn good.
The Elusive Targets within Hitman are a series of planned โLive contentโ for players to sate their thirst between the actual episodes. They represent an interesting way to play, in that they are only going to be available once. Theyโre also unique in that they provide very little information to the player, outside of the above video, which you can also see in game. Theyโre meant for only the most skilled Hitmen, but as you cross these targets off of your list, youโll find a few rewards coming your way. The signature suit from Hitman Absolution is your first reward after crossing off 5 targets from your list, and once you hit 10, youโll receive the suit from Hitman: Blood Money. Thereโs more information that you can find on how these unique missions work below:
- An Elusive Target is a once in a lifetime experience
- They are available for a limited time only in game โ this first Elusive Target will last 48 hours (heโs already been on the loose for 24 hours, so get to work!)
- Intel on the target will be limited
- They will not appear in instinct mode, or the mini map and their locations will not be revealed to you โ youโll have to go and find them
- Plan accordingly before you engage your target
- Your target can only die once
- If you die during the mission, thatโs it
- When the time runs out, they are gone for good
- If you fail, there are no second chances
The Congressman is available to players from Friday May 27 14:00 CEST / 05:00 PDT to Sunday May 29 14:00 CEST / 05:00 PDT. After Sunday, heโll be gone for good, so make sure you give yourself the chance to get this once in a lifetime target off of your hit-list. For more information on future Elusive Targets, you can check Hitmanโs Facebook, Twitter, and even their official subreddit.
