Massive Spike in Overwatch Pornhub Searches… You Dirty Rascals!
And you thought Tracer’s infamous butt pose was bad! It looks like fans of Blizzard’s upcoming arena shooter want a little more than just a butt pose. So much more that at the start of Overwatch’s open beta last Thursday, adult website Pornhub saw an 817% increase in Overwatch related searches.
The open beta went live on PS4, Xbox One and PC and from the looks of it people liked it so much that they just needed to see more… naked. Pornhub was ever so nice enough to create some infographs so we could get right into the minds of all you dirty birds and what you’ve been searching for. Sure, there was some mild interest around the tail end of March, but look at that boom on the 5th! Apparently shooting things in Overwatch makes the masses a little randy.
As you might surmise, the most popular of characters in Overwatch seems to be Tracer. The aforementioned ‘butt pose’ fiasco put her front and center in the Overwatch promo catalogue. Not surprisingly, she takes the award for most searched Overwatch character on Pornhub too, and not by a bit but(t) by a landslide. Widow Maker and Mercy make appearances on the list, but significantly lower than Tracer’s star turn.
Of course, Pornhub isn’t the only place you’re going to find racy Overwatch content. If you’re the resourceful type we’re sure you can find it, but we’re ot going to be helping you out you dirty birds! You’re on your own.
What we can also take away from this is that Blizzard has a bonafide hit on its hands worldwide with searches originating from Asia, Europe, South America and more.
