Battlefield 1 Appears To Be Going With Xbox One As Lead Console

Battlefield 1 vs Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare, Here We Go Again

Earlier this week Activision announced that Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare will launch worldwide Friday, November 4. Activision also revealed the PS4 version will get DLC map packs one month early compared to other platforms, as it was done with Call of Duty: Black Ops III. This is the second year in a row the PS4 is COD’s lead console. Now it looks like Electronic Arts is going to go in the opposite direction with Battlefield 1. That is of course if you place any weight on the picture below.

The picture was tweeted earlier today by NovaGaming who appears to be in attendance at the presentation.

The picture clearly shows “Presented by Xbox One” which suggests EA has some kind of deal in place with Xbox.

At the time of writing nothing official has been announced. So we don’t know what kind of sponsorship or marketing deal might exist between Electronic Arts and Microsoft. This said, if there is such a deal in place we can safely assume Xbox One players will receive some content as a temporary exclusive, pretty much like PS4 owners will for Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare.
