Gone are the days when Snake, or even Angry Birds were the pinnacle of gaming on your mobile device. After a tease made last week for a game codenamed Project: Rising we get the proper reveal for the samurai themed Samurai Rising. Coming to the iOS and Android market, Samurai Rising is looking at a Spring release date so that means soon! From the trailer it looks to be a Final Fantasy styled homage to feudal Japan and if we’re being honest, it looks quite good too.
Despite often being the realm of pay-to-win and freemium garbage there are a lot of good games on mobile devices. While we know that an announcement of a game like Samurai Rising coming to console would probably break the internet, that doesn’t mean there’s no hope for it on mobile!
