DOOM Install Size, Another Reason to Upgrade Your HD
Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls! Step right up to see the upcoming heavyweight demon murdering machine, DOOM install size in all it’s glory! Weighing in at a whopping 45.04GB on your Xbox One console. Hitting the Xbox Marketplace on May 13, 2016, DOOM is the much anticipated comeback of one of the most popular FPS shooter series ever made. Prepare yourself to go back to the Red Planet of Mars and fight off another round of demon hordes. Promising to be one of the goriest and most brutal shooters we’ve seen in a while, we know that we can’t wait to get our hands on it.
We recently played in the Closed Beta as well, and while there’s plenty to be excited about, we did note a few things of concern.
It seems that games are just getting bigger and bigger, as the DOOM install size is hardly the first of its kind. Luckily, at least in the case of the Xbox One, adding an external HD is a pretty simple process. It’s very likely of course that the DOOM install will be just as big, if not even bigger on the PS4 and sadly that HD replacement is a little more work.
