Have you ever just felt the need to stop everything you were doing and just be a cat? Seen a mouse and you had the urge to chase it down and present it to your significant other or most favorite person? How about having the uncontrollable desire to just go and knock everything off the counters? While most of these things are frowned upon (and to save you the mess!), you can now allow your inner cat out with the fantastic new cat simulation game Catlateral Damage.
Catlateral Damage is a first person destructive cat simulator where, you guessed it, you play as a cat and make messes. The controls are very similar to other first person games except there are no guns, shooting or violence. Instead you use your little paws to wreak as much havoc as possible in your owners home by knocking all of their belongings onto the floor.
It’s not just limited to your house either! You can also cause as much destruction as you can in a log cabin, a mansion and even a supermarket and museum! All levels are procedurally generated so you can litter-ally be a cat fur-ever!
Catlateral Damage will offer two game modes:
- Objective Mode: Each level you play has a time limit and an objective. Your objective simply being to knock the target number of objects onto the floor within the time limit.
- Litterbox Mode: You pick the level you desire to destroy and you play! There are no objectives and no time limit! Just pure kitty chaos.
By playing either of these game modes, you can collect upgrades by playing with various cat toys to improve your movement and swatting abilities. With over twenty different cats to choose from, you can just cat all day long!
The official cat madness begins March 22nd and will have an MSRP of $9.99 (or $7.99 for PS Plus members during launch week!)
