Open-World MMORPG ‘PWI’ Gets New War Front Expansion

Today, Perfect World Entertainment, known for free-to-play MMORPGs, announced War Front, the 11th expansion for Perfect World International (PWI), is now available. The launch of today’s expansion introduces cross-server PvP combat (Battle for Treasure Island and Cross-Server Nation Wars) and marks the debut of Heavenfall, the game’s first dynamic solo instance.

PWI: War Front expands the content for both solo and group players with large-scale PvP combat that spans across all servers. The most elite factions will face off against one another in a 120-player war for power and resources during Battle for Treasure Island. Building on the current Territory Wars, the new cross-server update to Nation Wars offers 20-versus-20 cross-server battles for land. Both of these multiplayer modes will offer rewards based on individual and team performance.

PWI: War Front also introduces the game’s first dynamic solo instance,Heavenfall. With 108 levels of content, this new instance is one of the most difficult dungeons in PWI, as it continuously changes every time players enter. Players who survive the dreaded Heavenfall will be ranked based on their performance and rewarded accordingly.

  • Battle for Treasure Island – 60 vs. 60 cross-server battles for power and resources.
  • Cross-Server Nation Wars – 20 vs. 20 cross-server skirmishes to secure control of nations.
  • Heavenfall Solo Instance – PWI’s first dynamic solo dungeon filled with demons and monsters.
  • Updated Bounty Quests – Challenging quests offer the best rewards in the game.
  • Instance Evaluation – New matching system helps players find teammates via automatic pairing.
  • Demon Orders – Coins can be traded for demon orders to summon one of the game’s four bosses to assist you in battle.
