While attending a review event in San Francisco a couple of weeks ago, it was revealed Black Ops 3 would have a currency system. As it stands there are two currency systems in Black Ops 3 – one for multiplayer and one for Zombies.
As it currently works, players earn currency (Cryptokeys in multiplayer and vials of Liquid Divinium in zombies) through time played in-game. They can be used for a variety of cosmetic items in multiplayer and Gobblegum in Zombies.
Black Ops 3 also features a Black Market which is an all-new destination in game where players meet the Black Market dealer, a shadowy figure, offering a variety of contraband he’s acquired along his journey.
Players earn Cryptokeys simply by competing in multi-player matches and can redeem them for Black Market supply drops that include a variety of awesome new wares, including weapon camos, reticles, calling cards, player customization and more. Test your luck in the Black Market and get some new badass gear; you never know what you’ll find lurking in the shadows…
Black Market available on PS4, Xbox One and PC platforms only.
