A Wizard’s Lizard 2 has just launched on Kickstarter to raise $50,000 to finish development. The sequel to the Steam game A Wizard’s Lizard, AWL2 is staying true to its overhead action rogue-like roots, but with several improvements.
First off, while the original game was built in HTML5, for optimization reasons they’ve switched to Unity, so it’s likely the game will perform better and (eventually) be available on more platforms.
Second, they doubled down on the graphics and the lizard element to the game. Raga can use his lizard tongue to collect items, grapple objects, pull himself across pits, and interact with the world.
Rewards are straightforward and range from $10 for the game, to $100 for an in-game digital painting.
If you want to know more, or if you want to help A Wizard’s Lizard 2 reach its goal of $50,000 by the end of September, visit its Kickstarter page.
