Ubisoft Partners With Studio Behind “Robot Chicken” for Toy Soldiers: War Chest

Ubisoft has partnered with Stoopid Buddy Stoodios, the award-winning studio behind “Robot Chicken,” and Sony Crackle’s upcoming “SuperMansion” with Bryan Cranston, to pull off a first-of-its kind concept for the launch trailer for Toy Soldiers: War Chest.

Toy Soldiers: War Chest is a fast-paced mix of tower defense and action gameplay that allows players to recreate imaginative battles in two versions, Hall of Fame and standard, which are available now on PlayStation4, Xbox One, and Windows PC in North America.

The trailer concept is a hybrid stop-motion, live-action gameplay combo where viewers witness an imagined battle played out in a world where the highly-trained special mission force, code name: G.I. JOE led by Duke and the Masters of the Universe army led by He-Man join newcomers to the toy box Cobra Commander and Assassin’s Creed’s Ezio in an epic battle between nostalgic action figures.

Toy Soldiers: War Chest Hall of Fame edition is available as a digital-download and at retailers. The Hall of Fame edition includes four licensed armies and the four armies included in the standard edition. Toy Soldiers: War Chest (standard edition) is available as a digital-download only. The standard edition includes Phantom, Dark Lord, Kaiser and Starbright. Players can also download individual Hall of Fame licensed armies or all four together in the Legendary Heroes pack.
