Merchoid has today announced the latest additions to their officially licensed DOTA 2 merchandise collection, with the release of Pudge’s Cleaver and Flesh Hook replica weapons. The foam weapons are life-size replicas based on the in-game weapons used by the popular DOTA 2 character ‘Pudge the Butcher’. The Cleaver is 61cm tall and constructed from durable and heavy PU foam, while the Flesh Hook is the same height and material, and also includes a 1m long chain. Both weapons are available to preorder now at Merchoid.com for £34.99/€59.99/$54.99 (all of which include free shipping) and ship in approximately two weeks time.
Creative Director Charanjeet Kondal explains “The game has consistently been one of the most popular games on Steam for several years now and Pudge is the most used DOTA 2 Hero. Every time we go to a games exhibition, we know there’ll be lots of fans in DOTA cosplay and we really want to add something special to their outfits. When they see them, fans will be hooked!” The replica weapons are the first in a collection of cosplay weapons that will be available at Merchoid in time for this year’s holiday season, with weapons from other game franchises due soon.
In addition to the Cleaver and Flesh Hook, Merchoid have also shown a DOTA 2 Alchemist Plush Hat designed to make the wearer look like an Ogre carrying the alchemist Razzill. The hat comes with an exclusive in-game DLC code to redeem Midas Knuckles 2015 in-game. The hat is available to preorder now for £34.99/€54.99/$49.99 (all of which include free shipping), with shipping also due in two weeks. The DOTA range is officially licensed by Valve and manufactured by Gaya.
