Shiness, an RPG developed by French independent studio Enigami, has successfully made it through its Kickstarter campaign, and is now wowing audiences at gamescom 2015. Â The upcoming title has gotten a lot of positive press with its compelling story and characters, and its unique combat gameplay.
Check out a brand new trailer for the game, released at gamescom, and you’ll see what all the fuss is about:
Cédric Lagarrigue, Managing Partner of Focus, the publisher backing the game, sees something special in Enigami, and thinks the indie studio has a lot to offer with Shiness.
“Focus Home Interactive is working with international studios, but also naturally partners with French studios now renowned such as DontNod, Cyanide, Eugen Systems, Spiders Games, and more, he says. “Enigami is one of these young and passionate French studios Focus Home Interactive would love to see emerge in this very competitive industry.”
Shiness has no official launch date or platforms yet, other than plans to release sometime in 2016. Â But let’s hope that the word-of-mouth generated at gamescom 2015 leads us to being able to play this promising title soon!
