Gal Gunvolt, an 8-Bit 2D action game that was originally released last year on the 3DS as Mighty Gunvolt, has been announced for the PS4 and PS Vita.
Gal Gunvolt will apparently be a direct port of the original, but it will feature some additional stages that were released as downloadable content on the 3DS version, including the Factory, Highway, Gym, and the Bio Lab.
There will be a total of three playable protagonists in Gal Gunvolt, including Mighty Gunvolt, Ekoro from Gal Gun, and Beck from Mighty No. 9. The game will have a total of nine stages and bosses to be defeated in the PS4 and PS Vita port.
A PlayStation Network exclusive release, Gal Gunvolt comes out August 6th in Japan. No work yet as to when we will see it in North America.
