Regalia Reaches Kickstarter Goal to Come to PC, Maybe PS4?

Regalia, a Kickstarter game project that is described as “a loving homage to classic JRPGs,” with “tactical battles mixed with rich story, social links, pleasant visuals and a fantastic soundtrack,” has reached its base funding goal of $40,000, and is coming to PC.

Plus, it seems well-poised to reach its secondary goal of $60,000, which the developers say will bring it to PS4 and PS Vita as well.  The project has 14 days left to reach that goal.

Here are Regalia’s game features:

  • A Disgaea meets Persona formula with a western twist on the classic strategy JRPG genre.
  • A robust turn-based combat system with the right balance between complexity and fluidity.
  • An attractive look and feel, with hand-drawn 2D backgrounds and a soundtrack produced by Game Audio Factory (Endless Legend, Endless Space).
  • Light 4X elements – build your own village, conduct diplomacy, send your companions on expeditions for resources and treasures.
  • Ahuge cast of characters to meet, recruit and befriend through Social Links.
  • Lots of replayability with procedurally generated content, New Game+ and Ironman modes.
