Today, Minecraft has hit a milestone that puts it in the top tier of videogame sales – it has sold over 20,000,000 copies.
That figure was revealed today on the Minecraft stats tracker website. It does not even include the millions of copies of Minecraft has sold on console and mobile.
Mojang, the company which created Minecraft, sold itself to Microsoft for $2.5 Billion last year. This seems like a steal at this point, as the game shows no signs of slowing down, and is one of the most-watched games on YouTube.
