The demand for the Pip-Boy Edition of Fallout 4 was so massive, Bethesda worked to get more out to retailers, fulfilling the hopes of many a gamer who had missed out on the first round of the offer. Sadly, that will be it, as Bethesda has said that there are no more being made.
Pete Hines, Bethesda’s VP of PR and Marketing, said on Twitter yesterday that the batch of Pip-Boy Editions sent out to retailers recently will be the last one ever:
“This last allocation was the final one to all stores in all territories. Each store is being given their final allotment. How and when they make the available is up to them. But no more are being made.”
“We made as many as we could,” Hines explained. “There are only so many we can make and maintain a level of quality. We don’t own our own factories.”
Fallout 4 releases for the PS4, Xbox One and PC on November 10th, 2015.
