E3 Info Part 1: How to Follow Sony at E3

Did you know that E3 starts THIS COMING MONDAY?  Yes, I am not joking.  So, in this series, we will tell you where to go to keep up on everything that happens with your favorite companies.  In this episode, we’ll tell you the best places to find out about all things Sony.

First off, there’s Sony’s big Press Briefing at 2.00am BST/3.00am UTC on Tuesday June 16th. This is the biggie – you’ll see all the new games coming to the PS4, PS Vita and other Sony consoles, plus any other “surprise” announcements.  It is all hyped-up and crazy because the presence of the large audience makes it feel like a rock concert – but for geeks.

Can’t be at the Press Briefing?  Yeah, join the club!  But, you can follow all the action via the PlayStation Blog E3 Hub, Sony’s Twitch Channel, or even YouTube.  So, you really have no excuse not to see this – other than being in the hospital (and it better be something real, not a cold or something!).

After the Press Briefing, keep tuned in right here to Canadian Online Gamers.  Our amazing team will BE AT THE SHOW!  That’s right – we’ll give you TONS of updates, constantly.  You’ll be like, “alright, enough with the updates!”  But we will just keep them coming – because we care that much.

Other than us, you could also keep checking the PlayStation Blog.  It will have stuff as well.

Finally, SCEA will host a Twitch Livestream of demos and videos at the event after the Briefing.  Check it out HERE.  The Livestream will happen at these times:

  • Tuesday: 8.00pm BST to 2.00am BST
  • Wednesday: 6.00pm BST to 1.00am BST
  • Thursday: 6.00pm BST to 11:00pm BST

Well, that’s it for now – see you then.  Also, check out the next installment of our E3 How-To series, when we will tell you everything you need to know to keep up with Microsoft!
