According to some industry insiders, Persona 5’s developers are getting prepped to show us Persona 5 at E3 this June. Atlus, devlopers of the Persona series, are reportedly gearing up for a “major announcement” at this year’s Electronic Entertainment Expo in Los Angeles.
The fifth Shin Megami Tensei: Persona title will revolve around the life of a bespectacled high school boy, who has yet to be named. As with previous installments, the protagonist’s school days would be punctuated with somewhat delinquent situations complete with combat style unique to the game and area exploration.
Persona 5 is slated for a 2015 release both in Japan and North America. However, there has been little in the way of when exactly that will be – fans are hoping that E3 changes that. The title will be made available for the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4. Recently, some new screenshots were relased – in case you missed them, here are a couple:
