A German website, pcgames.de/, is boasting that an anonymous but reliable source at Bethesda has revealed there will be a closed-doors preview of Fallout 4 at the end of their conference at E3 this summer. Of course, Bethesda has said nothing about this so far and likely won’t validate the rumor.
Supposedly 20-30 minutes of gameplay, a few lucky people might get the chance to see firsthand what’s in store for the Fallout universe. Will it be set in Boston, as was suggested ages ago? What has happened to the Brotherhood of Steel? Hopefully if this all turns out to be true, at least a few questions will be answered this June.
So far there has been no information about Fallout 4, and not even any indication that it’s being developed. There’s a ton of interest behind the Fallout IP, and considering the timeframe of production cycles Bethesda tends to work with, many have already speculated that their first ever conference at E3 would be the perfect place for a reveal trailer. For now we’ll just have to wait and see, but things are starting to look up for anyone hoping to travel the wasteland in the not so distant future.
