PAX East is a go and news coming out of Boston is flying fast and furious. Today at the show Blizzard Entertainment revealed two new characters to the upcoming multiplayer shooter Overwatch.
First up is McCree, a Bad Ass MF (as detailed on his belt buckle) who uses a Peacekeeper Revolver for close quarters action and the odd sniping kill. The gunslinger also has an ability in which he targets multiple enemies at once and takes them all out with a single shot, appropriately called the Deadeye.
Next up is the tank Zarya who takes out foes using a massive Particle Cannon. It shoots an energy beam that can be effective at both long and short distances. Not only that, the weapon can also be used as an energy shield. Finally, we’re able to see her Graviton Surge attack that pulls in her enemies and unleashes massive damage.
A new map was announced as well called Watchpoint: Gibraltar. Take a look at the gallery below for a few screenshots. While there’s no specific news on Beta times for fans Blizzard was forthcoming with the information that it will be available in the Fall of this year. Definitely something to get excited about PC gamers!
