Xbox gamers who tuned into last night’s episode of “The Walking Dead” on AMC got a world-premiere look at the new teaser trailer for Halo 5: Guardians. Next week, during the show’s season finale, the world premiere of the official live-action trailer will provide a first glimpse at the intriguing story of one of the year’s most anticipated games – launching exclusively on Xbox One this fall.
The teaser, entitled “Bullet,” is now available online. Fans can slow down and study the new video, frame-by-frame, to discover ominous new clues about the fate of the legendary Master Chief. You can check out the new website dedicated to the hunt for the truth at http://huntthetruth.tumblr.com/. Xbox and Halo fans alike will be abel to check out snippets of information through a journalistic style of whether or not Master Chief is the hero so many revere him as, or if he is a traitor, like the bullet says.
To further this, Xbox and 343 Industries have launched “Hunt the Truth” – an episodic narrative audio series that can be found on the webiste we’ve linked. The series stars Keegan-Michael Key (“Key and Peele”) as Benjamin Giraud, a war-journalist who slowly unearths startling new revelations about who the Master Chief really is, forcing listeners to reevaluate what they really know about humanity’s greatest hero. Episodes will be released each week via Tumblr and syndicated across multiple podcast platforms for 12 weeks, leading up to E3 in June 2015.
