To say that Nintendo’s newest must have item, the Amiibo, has been successful is an understatement. With stores selling out and even hard to find characters hitting e-bay and other auction sites at prices sky rocketing into the hundreds you can say that Nintendo has a bonafide hit on its hands. Not one to miss out on an opportunity the Big-N announced characters from the fourth wave as part of its Nintendo Direct today. Not only that we also found out about a wave of Super Mario characters that will launch alongside Mario Party 10 will be coming too.
On March 20th the Amiibo collection will see a release consisting mostly of characters that have already seen a release but they will be specific Mario Party 10 designed characters. They include Mario, Luigi, Peach and Bowser. We will also see the debut of the one and only Toad! Best part is that you will be able to use Toad in Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker as well.
The fourth wave will drop sometime in the spring and will see Robin and Lucinda from Fire Emblem, Ness from Earthbound, Wario, Pac-Man and Charizard hit store shelves.
