Today, Ubisoft announced its FAN EXPO Canada lineup featuring a selection of Ubisoft’s highly anticipated titles including The Crew, Just Dance 2015 as well as the Canadian-made Assassin’s Creed Unity and Far Cry 4. In addition to hands-on time with some of the games, fans will have the opportunity to purchase apparel and various high-quality items from Ubi Workshop, Ubisoft’s own internal consumer product development branch.
Additionally, products based on the successful Raving Rabbids video game franchise and the CG animated television series Rabbids Invasion from McFarlane Toys will be available for purchase prior to their official release later this year. McFarlane Toys, well-known for its enormously successful action figure collaborations with blockbuster entertainment and pop-culture properties, is developing one of its largest licensing programs ever around the Rabbids television show franchise.
FAN EXPO Canada attendees will be able to partake in the Assassin’s Creed Unity Guillotine Experience. Consumers will get to record their reactions as they’re experiencing the bloodiest part of the French Revolution and share the content with their friends over social media. Consumers who complete the guillotine experience or pre-order the game on-site will receive Assassin’s Creed Unity goodies including a free poster created by Tony Moore (while supplies last). Attendees visiting the Ubisoft booth (#1647) can also head over to the Assassin’s Creed Unity/ Edge® Shave Gel branded section for exclusive Fan Expo Canada items and giveaways.
Attendees at the Metro Convention Center will also have the opportunity to witness the creation of an interactive mural based on Far Cry 4, the latest game from Ubisoft’s renowned studio in Montreal. Consumers will be invited during the first two days of the show to document the creation process and interact with the mural by tweeting photos including the hashtag #CRAZYASFC4 or mentioning @UbisoftCanada.
