A patch for ‘The Last of Us Remastered’ has been released over the weekend out for PS4 users in North America and Europe, minus the UK, that has only a single purpose; to shorten the wait time for an online match. Some players have been complaining about the length of time it has taken to find a match in the weirdly addictive and very fun TLOU Factions multiplayer.
In an official statement from Naughty Dog, community strategist Arne Meyer says that they’ve been working on resolving these issues since launch and will continue to improve on their online game experience. The new patch should shorten your wait times, resolving one of the biggest issues the game has had since it’s PS4 launch.
He also offered some advice saying that sometimes, if you’re experiencing long wait times, to simply go back and start the search again. I suppose if that doesn’t work, we can always take the game out and blow on it.
