While Sony has officially stated that it will not be offering a discount to PS3 owners of the amazing The Last of Us, retail giant GameStop has stepped up to offer a discount on the PS4 version when you trade in your PS3 version. How much of a mark down are they offering?
Well, when you hand over your PS3 version, GameStop will slash the Ps4 price in half. That makes it a $25 dollar game on your brand new system, DLC included! Hard to argue with those prices! The game, of course, also comes with any of your PS3 mircotransactions that you may have made as well as a commentary by the developer and a couple of multiplayer packs tossed in too.
Naughty Dog has also announced that both versions of the game will be getting some new multiplayer DLC soon, making it an even better buy. The spruced up new version will launch on July 29th.
