10) OlliOlli World
February was a huge month for video game releases in 2022 and OlliOlli World was only the beginning. This skateboarding action-adventure game is colorful and a ton of fun. It’s the third in the OlliOlli franchise and is the best one yet. It features extremely smooth gameplay mechanics and controls, lots of player customization and freedom and has a bangin’ soundtrack. Whatever you do, just make sure to grind and kick flip in style with OlliOlli World. It’s truly the ultimate skateboarding dream! The 87% score on Metacritic is pretty damn convincing too…
9) Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga
What’s better than Lego? How about Star Wars? Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga, of course! Not only do you get to immerse yourself in a galaxy far, far away, but you get to jump into all 9 Star Wars saga movies Lego style. With over 300 characters to play as, including Darth Vader, Chewbacca and Luke Skywalker, players can also travel to 23 different planets, taking on a slew of new adventures. Upgrade abilities and experience the magical quests one stud at a time. TT Games and Traveller’s Tales really outdid themselves with this one. Dive in before it’s too late!
8) Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands
Calling all fans of the Borderlands franchise. Tiny Tina got her own game and it’s equal parts whimsical, chaotic, and wonderful. Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands is an entertaining action role-playing FPS title that’s going to have you looting, shooting, slashing, and casting your way to victory against the Dragon Lord. With its March release, Gearbox Software and 2K, lived up to the hype from and anticipation and that is a feat in itself. Play with up to three friends online and blast your way through a ton of skeletons and colossal bosses with a large variety of weaponry! Well, what are you waiting for?
7) Total War: Warhammer III
Total War: Warhammer III is the thrilling ending of a wonderful series. This turn-based strategy and real-time tactics video game, from Creative Assembly and Sega, is insanely addictive. Blink and a whole day may be in your rearview! Command your forces in battle and strategize to kick enemy butt. The campaigns for Total War: Warhammer III can be played with up to 8 players so no game is going to feel the same. Will you rally your forces and take on your biggest battles yet? Strap up those boots, because it’s going to be a bumpy, but crazy good time. Oh, and with a DLC coming next month, there’s going to be even more content to love. Total War: Warhammer III is truly a fan favorite too, sitting at an impressive 86% on Metacritic.
6) Kirby and the Forgotten Land
Kirby and the Forgotten Land offers good vibes only. It’s a platform game, from HAL Laboratory and Nintendo, that takes you on a fun-loving journey to rescue the Waddle Dees and take on big bosses. This little pink puff ball is a joy to play, and he really takes Muhammad Ali’s float like a butterfly and sting like a bee quote seriously. And whether you just felt nostalgic thinking about Kirby and Muhammad Ali, or you’ve never heard of either before now, this is a game you’ll want to get your hands on. Play by yourself, or with a friend, and freeze, float, and poke your way to victory!
