E3 2019: Xbox Briefing – The Best, The Worst, and the Cringe-worthy

The Most Cringe-Worthy

Here are the most cringe-worthy moments of the Xbox E3 Briefing.

Gears 5 – Kait, Broken trailer

Gears of War has a history of absolutely brilliant trailers. Just remember when you first saw that Gears of War “Mad World” trailer for the first time – the brutal violence juxtaposed with that beautiful, melancholy song – it hooked everyone. Fast forward to today and we see a trailer featuring Kait dealing with conflicting thoughts portrayed by the people in her life literally emerging from her head. It just looked silly. I 100% get what they were trying to do, but it didn’t work for me.

Keanu Reeves

We all love Keanu Reeves, he’s just one cool individual that we’d love to have a beer with. But like most celebrity appearances during gaming press conferences, this was just a lame moment. Sure, it’s cool Keanu is in Cyberpunk 2077 – but they could have left it at that.
