Dragon Quest Heroes II – Square Enix – PC, PS4 (Apr 25)

If you happen to live in Japan, Dragon Quest Heroes II may be old news for you, but if you live on North American shores then you’ll be able to get your hands on the game this coming April 25th. Featuring fast paced hack-and-slash gameplay, this Omega Force developed title is heavier on the RPG elements than OF’s other main franchise, Dynasty Warriors. When the long peace between kingdoms is suddenly at risk, warriors from all across the seven lands will band together to restore serenity at any cost.

Mario Kart 8 Deluxe – Nintendo – Switch (Apr 28)

The Nintendo Switch will have another big addition to its lineup at the end of April with the release of Mario Kart 8 Deluxe. Featuring the original game plus all of the DLC content it also has new perks with a revised Battle Mode and new characters from the Splatoon franchise. This definitive version of MK8 also features some all new tracks, the ability to play in full 1080p HD, and even features local wireless multiplayer for up to 8 people. Start your engines on April 28th!

Outlast II – Red Barrels – PC, PS4, X1 (Apr 25)

Available on its own or as part of the Outlast Trinity release, Outlast II puts players in the shoes of freelance journalist, Blake Langermann. Separated from his wife in a helicopter crash, Blake will attempt to find her all while traveling through a village inhabited by a sect that believes the end of days is upon them. Similar to the original Outcast, Blake is unable to fight, instead relying on stealth and hiding spots to survive his journey. Shaping up to be one of the most terrifying experiences you’ve ever had, Outlast II releases on April 25th. Might want to bring along some adult diapers!
