Top 10 Xbox One Games Arriving This Fall and Holiday Season

Need for Speed: Payback

I know what you’re thinking, why should a Need for Speed game be appearing on a Top 10 list? It’s true that the last couple Need for Speed games have been less than stellar, but from what we saw and played at E3, developer Ghost Games is set to deliver a far superior driving game. Need for Speed: Payback appears to be taking a page (or rather, the whole damn book) from the Fast and Furious franchise by creating an exciting, fast-paced, driving game filled with action and explosions. It’ll be like playing the lead role in an action movie, and that’s fine by us!

A Hat In Time

A Hat In Time began as a Kickstarter campaign and now is ready to see its release on the Xbox One (along with other platforms). It’s a quirky and cute platformer that borrows a number of mechanics from great platformers such as Super Mario 64 and Bionic Commando. This one will be perfect for younger audiences and fans of platformers from yesteryear.

Elex

An open-world, action role-playing game that takes place in a post-apocalyptic world? Sounds like Fallout – so it’s already doing something right! This game seems to be incredibly ambitious, but if it can actually deliver on its promises – it’ll be an absolute treat to play! And that CGI trailer is slick!
