Nicholas Plouffe (Editor) –Â Call of Duty: Modern Warfare
Arguably the best Call of Duty game to date and it helped solidify the online console experience. Not much else needs to be said.

Fallout 3 on PlayStation 3 was a hot mess that I couldn’t put down. It was the first PS3 title I ever owned that froze on the regular. I didn’t even care! I just learned to save frequently. I also learned that I’m terrible at being evil. Like, just the worst. I’d start a file thinking this time I’d be evil the whole time, and bam… saving people’s lives almost immediately. Just can’t get away from it.
Stephan Adamus (Contributor) – Castlevania: Lords of Shadow
Castlevania: Lords of Shadow took the combat of God of War, mixed it with Uncharted’s platforming and Shadow of the Colossus’ boss battles, and wrapped it all in a dark fantasy setting that very much appealed to me. The finale was so incredible that my roommate, who had no interest in video games, watched me beat this one and made me swear to tell her when the sequel was coming.
