Boo

Since Super Mario Bros. 3, Boo has been a spooky obstacle of Super Mario time and time again. Boo isn’t exactly one for confrontation, and he’ll cover his eyes whenever you look at him – but turn your back on Boo and he’ll creep on up to you!

Chozo Ghosts (Metroid Prime)

Spirits of the ancient Chozo, but corrupted by Phazon, these Chozo Ghosts protect various ruins throughout Metroid Prime. They’re a pain in the morph ball, but with the right weapons, you can bring them down.

Blinky, Pinky, Inky, and Clyde (Pac-Man)

These four ghosts have been chasing Pac-Man around those mazes for decades. Pac-Man is just trying to eat but these four keep interrupting his damn meal! Fortunately, now that McDonald’s delivers, Pac-Man can just order food in and doesn’t need to wander around those mazes looking for sustenance anymore!

Captain LeChuck (Monkey Island)

Who doesn’t have a bloodthirsty ghost pirate nemesis who keeps vying for your girlfriend’s affection? They’re the worst. LeChuck is Guybrush Threepwood’s nemesis in the Monkey Island games, and even though Threepwood continues to thwart LeChuck, the evil ghost keeps coming back.

Ghosts (Super Ghouls n’ Ghosts)

The world of Super Ghouls n’ Ghosts is filled with all manner of villains hell-bent on stopping the brave knight Arthur! And of course, the game name says it all, there are ghosts… annoying floaty ghosts. But wait! Haven’t you played Super Ghouls n’ Ghosts? Well, you’re in luck as it is included on the Super NES Classic Edition console that released on Sept 29th!
