The Worst

Crisis on the Planet of the Apes VR

If you are a fan of the Planet of the Apes franchise, this is probably not what you are looking for. In our review, we note that “at the end of the day, the only similarity between Crisis on the Planet of the Apes and the film series it’s based on is in name only.” This game has an almost non-existent story, is simple and on-rails, and the locomotion is relatively annoying.

Bravo Team

Much like the above, while virtual reality is a great piece of technology, the software has yet to catch up to the hardware. Bravo Team is an example of this, with the only mechanics available being the aiming and shooting. In fact, we noted in our review that “the sum total of this VR experience is being a virtual jack in the box.” Despite being developed by Supermassive Games of Until Dawn fame, Bravo Team, unfortunately does not stack up.

Bullet Witch

Bullet Witch was originally an Xbox 360 exclusive title that is now ported to PC, despite not being asked for. While the game has its moments, particularly its soundtrack and some aspects of its gameplay, it is very repetitive, unchallenging, and the map is quite bland. In our review, we found that “Bullet Witch has some promise and some really great ideas behind it, however, the execution itself is incredibly sub-par.”
