10 Xbox 360 Games That Need to Become Backwards Compatible

Metal Gear Solid HD Collection

Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain brought a lot of new fans to the Metal Gear Solid series due to its great gameplay. For the first time, players could actually feel like the badass secret agent that they always wanted to be. Putting the Metal Gear Solid HD Collection on Xbox One would be great as players could learn about Big Boss’ beginnings and find out more about the characters that are shown off in MGS V.

The Orange Box

The Orange Box really feels like a once in a lifetime moment. We’ll probably never see a single new release containing three amazing games again, but gamers can still appreciate that Half Life 2: Episode Two, Team Fortress 2 and Portal all were bundled together. It’s the reason why Portal became an instant hit, and it was the only way for console players to play Half-Life 2. It’s a piece of gaming history that shouldn’t be forgotten, and that’s one of the reasons why backwards compatibility is so great.

Radiant Silvergun

Devveloper Treasure is legendary for their shoot ’em up games, and Radiant Silvergun might just be the best of the bunch. Originally released in arcades and on Sega Saturn, it was rereleased on Xbox 360 in 2011. It wasn’t just a slapdash port, as it featured enhanced visuals and online cooperative play. It deserves to be played by as many people as possible, and would be a great fit on Xbox One.

Rez HD

VR showpiece Rez Infinite is coming to PS4, but is skipping Xbox One. That doesn’t mean that Xbox owners have to go Rez-less though! It’s the perfect time for Rez HD, the fantastic widescreen version of the Dreamcast and PS2 classic, to get rereleased. Let everyone enjoy Tetsuya Mizugichi’s modern masterpiece.
