And No The Console Isn’t Even Out Yet
eBay is a beautiful place sometimes. If you can think of a product, someone is selling that product for several times it’s actual value. In this case, said product is one of these fabulous limited edition Spider-Man PS4 Pros. Somehow, this gorgeous piece of hardware is already being sold on eBay.
Again, because the product itself isn’t actually out yet, what’s being sold is a pre-order. In particular, an Amazon pre-order. Not only that, but they’re being sold for at least two hundred more than what they’re actually worth. Normally retailing at $399.99, copies (of the pre-order, because the system isn’t out yet) have been appearing for as much as $800. Madness!
To be clear, this bundle isn’t out of stock everywhere. It’s only out of stock (as of this article) at Amazon. Yet somehow people feel justified in charging exorbitant amounts of money for what amounts to the promise of a console once it’s actually released. If you’re going to spend a rent check’s worth of cash on a game system, at least wait until said game system is actually in stores. Spider-Man, along with the PS4 Pro bundle, is out on September 7th, 2018.
