Far Cry 5 Gets a Photo Mode in New Update

Head Back to Hope County and Snap Some Pics!

Far Cry 5 is known for its beautiful, vast, and chaotic open-world and a free update for the game adds a photo mode for players that want to capture it all!

The photo mode can be enabled in singleplayer mode and when it’s activated the camera will shift from the game’s usual first-person perspective to a third-person perspective. The photo mode camera can be fully rotated and there are several picture settings to choose from such as time of day, filters, logos, field of view, and whether or not you want the user interface to appear in your photo.

Players will so be able to have their custom avatar make facial expressions and can use the photo mode to take selfies, according to a Ubisoft post about the update.

If you’ve been using the photo mode then go ahead and talk about your experience with it in the comments section below. Also, maybe drop some links to some of the cool pictures you’ve taken in Far Cry 5!

Far Cry 5 is out now for the PC, PS4 & Xbox One. We posted a review for the game back in March.
