Divinity: Original Sin 2 Getting 4K, HDR, Squirrel Knight on Xbox

Divinity’s New Sidekick is a Little Nutty

Publisher Bandai Namco has announced that visual enhancements will be coming to the Xbox Game Preview version of Divinity: Original Sin 2, and that those who pre-order the bonus will be privy to a squirrely new hero.

Divinity: Original Sin 2 will have native 4K and HDR on Xbox starting July 19th, along with various updates promising improved UI and overall performance. The update will also add achievements and hero stats – but let’s be real, we’re all here for Sir Lora.

Divinity Original Sin 2 Sir Lora

Sir Lora the Squirrel Knight and his trusty skeleton-steed Quercus join your party in Fort Joy, where you’ll find them fleeing the grasp of an unholy order named the Knights of Drey, as they stop at nothing to prevent the coming of The Great Acorn. He’ll come with his own questline as well as a bunch of new skill-crafting abilities.

Those who pre-order Divinity: Original Sin 2 Definitive Edition for PS4 or Xbox One will gain access to Sir Lora, as will PC players who owned the game prior to it’s console release this coming August 31st.
