Darksiders 3 Developer Announces New Co-op Shooter, Remnant: From the Ashes

Remnant: From the Ashes to Feature “Dynamically Generated Worlds”

Gunfire Games, the developer behind the upcoming Darksiders 3, and publisher Perfect World Entertainment has announced Remnant: From the Ashes, a new four-player co-op shooter coming in 2019.

Remnant: From the Ashes is described as a third-person survival-action shooter featuring “dynamically generated worlds” during co-op. It is slated to come out sometime next year for Xbox One, PS4, and PC. You can check out the announcement trailer below (via IGN).

The game takes places in a post-apocalyptic future Earth setting where the planet has been overrun by The Root, a hostile specific from another dimension. Players will travel to different dimensions featuring “dynamically-generated levels,” craft weapons and equipment, recruit members for their home base, and even customize their avatar to suit their personal playstyle. Gunfire Games has also confirmed that there will be a character progression system and multiple hero archetypes to select from.

Remnant: From the Ashes is the next game from Gunfire Games, who recently confirmed the release date for Darksiders 3. The company also revealed two premium collector’s editions. You can read all about them by clicking here.
