It Looks Like LIMBO and Inside Are Coming to Switch Next Week

Famitsu Leak Confirms Inside and Limbo Coming June 28th

Last September, Playdead announced that their critically-acclaimed indie hit Inside would be making its way to the Nintendo Switch as well as iOS devices. And while Apple users have since been able to enjoy the game on their iPhone and iPad, Switch owners have been left in the dark as to when they can play the haunting puzzle-platformer. Until now, that is.

Famitsu has confirmed that Inside is releasing on the Nintendo Switch eShop worldwide next week on June 28th. That’s exactly two years since it debuted for the first time on Xbox One. And if that wasn’t enough, Playdead’s original game, LIMBO, will also be hitting the Switch’s digital store on the same day.

LIMBO was originally released on the Xbox 360 as an Xbox Arcade game. Alongside games like Braid and Shadow Complex, it is considered one of the defining indie games of the last decade. It’s no surprise then that there was significant hype surrounding Inside when it was first announced. It may have been in development for six long years but it was widely praised when it finally released in 2016.

Just like on the other platforms, it’s possible that both games will be available individually as well as a bundle pack. We’re expecting an official press release announcement very soon.
