Forza Horizon 4 Goes Co-Op and Is Coming This October

Playground Games Introduces a Completely New Kind of Forza

Forza Horizon 4 is coming to Xbox One, Microsoft announced at their E3 conference. It is currently in development but coming sooner than you think. Moreover, it looks like Playground Games is taking the series in an all-new direction. The open world can now be raced with friends.

Forza Horizon 4 is going to be a shared open world, which means players can join each other and race across the vast expanse of Britain. Yes, the new game is set in Britain, and there will be changing seasons. To make the experience all the greater, it looks like co-op will be a seamless aspect of gameplay. Players can join one another and race whimsically in whatever fashion they prefer. And with seasons, the driving experience varies, and the environment inevitably affects the roads. But you can see for yourself in the new trailer, captured in 4K.

Forza Horizon 4 is coming October 2, 2018, and it will launch concurrently with Xbox Game Pass. That’s right, the shared-world racing experience is coming this year, so mark your calendars. Last but not least, developer Playground Games has officially been acquired by Microsoft. This is an unfolding story, and we’ll bring you updates as they arrive.
