Life Is Strange 2 Now Available to Pre-Order
Last week Dontnod Entertainment revealed that the first episode of Life is Strange 2, the sequel to the graphic adventure title that launched in 2015, will be released in September. Now, it seems they’re celebrating the release of their latest title The Awesome Adventures of Captain Spirit with pre-orders officially open for Life is Strange 2.
While there isn’t too much known about the sequel to the critically acclaimed Life is Strange, if you’ve been antsy waiting in anticipation for the opportunity to pre-order the second game, the wait is over. And don’t worry, the pre-order is officially available on Steam for PC players, in the Xbox Store and in the PlayStation Store. If you’re wondering what the price is, you may be slightly surprised, with Life is Strange 2 coming in at $40 USD/ $50 CAD across the board.
Like episodic games before this one, players can either purchase each episode individually or they can purchase the entire season. Of course, like these past games, Life is Strange 2 will come with additional bonuses for pre-ordering the entire season in full. If you pre-order the complete season you will receive the following: The “Mascot bundle” where you can customise your backpack with patches and keyring based on the Life is Strange universe. While this is the bonus for all three platforms, the PS4 version will have a little something extra available as well. If you purchase the full season from the PlayStation Store you will also receive Pre-Order Life is Strange 2 Complete Season and receive: The Awesome Adventures of Captain Spirit PS4 theme.
And if you were curious about the game’s description thus far, here’s what all three pre-order pages have written, “The long awaited sequel to the award winning Life is Strange returns with a new 5-part narrative adventure from DONTNOD Entertainment. Episode 1 will be available on September 27th 2018. Episodes 2-5 will be available at later dates. Complete Season includes Episode 1 and the Episode 2-5 bundle. Episodes 2-5 available upon release.” Dontnod has stated that more information will be available sometime next month.
