Devil May Cry 5 Officially Announced

Dante, Nero, and a New Friend Fight Off The Legions of Hell in Devil May Cry 5

After more leaks than a BP oil tanker, Capcom finally announced Devil May Cry 5 during Xbox’s E3 briefing today.

The trailer shows off Devil May Cry 4 protagonist Nero with a shiny new metal arm taking on some of the most disgusting demons I’ve ever seen in my entire life alongside a young lady who may or may not be a playable character. Nero takes on small and large demons alike and features the classic hokey nu-metal soundtrack the series is known for. The trailer closes with Dante tearing through the streets of an unknown city on his motorcycle. The game is set to launch in Spring 2019.

Hideaki Itsuno came out on stage to say “I’ve waited 4 years for this. Thank you so much. DMC is back! I’m convinced it’s the best game we’ve ever made, because we made it for you.”
